About me
Professor Brian Brandt is a leader in experiential education with over 30 years of experience supporting youth and adult programs. Through training, consulting, and international partnerships, he collaborates with schools, camps, nonprofits, government agencies, and organizations to design engaging, active learning environments that strengthen both programs and people. His work explores how experiential learning can transform programs across contexts, including social emotional learning, civic engagement, organizational development, and STEM career pathways. He is especially passionate about expanding equitable access to opportunities and supporting programs in creating inclusive, meaningful experiences for all participants.Known for bringing practical tools, creativity, and the power of play into every setting, Brian helps organizations translate ideas into action and impact. Grounded in the belief that learning should be hands-on, relevant, and fun, he brings the heart of a child to his work—curious, a little mischievous, and always remembering that play is serious learning, and if it’s not engaging, it’s not working.
